Delete your Fork Knows account
Fork Knows — what’s for dinner? Fork Knows. You can delete your account and its data yourself from inside the app, or ask us to do it for you.
What gets deleted
- Your sign-in account and profile.
- Your pantry items, shopping list and low-stock settings.
- Your receipts and the receipt photos you uploaded.
- Your recipes, dinners and weekly meal plans.
- Your purchase, spending and cooking history.
- Your membership of any household.
- Households you are the last member of, together with their diner profiles, pantry, grocery list, receipts, purchases, recipes, meal plans and cooking history.
If other people are still in your household, their shared data is kept and ownership passes to another member. Only your account and your membership are removed.
What is retained, and for how long
- Nothing in the app. Your records are removed immediately when deletion completes.
- Deletion requests sent from this page — the email address you submit is kept for up to 90 days so we can prove the request was handled.
- Security and abuse logs held by our hosting provider (IP address, time of request) — kept for up to 30 days for security and fraud prevention.
- Encrypted infrastructure backups — deleted records age out of routine backups within 30 days and are not restored into the app.
If you can still sign in
